Ralph Lauren Corporation RL continued to expand its digital business in the first quarter of fiscal 2027, with total digital ecosystem sales, including its own e-commerce sites and wholesale digital accounts, increasing at a mid-teens rate year over year on a constant-currency basis. Growth extended across all regions, driven by improved digital commerce experiences and ongoing efforts to strengthen consumer engagement.
Asia was a key growth driver, with digital ecosystem sales rising at a double-digit rate, supported by Ralph Lauren’s own digital commerce sites and pure-play online retailers. The region’s revenue grew 25%, while retail comparable sales increased 23%. China remained a leading growth market, with sales rising more than 40%, supported by healthy comparable sales, new-customer recruitment, localized brand activations and continued expansion across key cities and digital channels.
In North America, digital comparable sales increased 8%, reflecting solid traffic trends and benefiting from merchandising optimization and investments in full-funnel marketing activations. Globally, retail comparable sales rose 12%, with balanced contributions from digital commerce and brick-and-mortar stores. Ralph Lauren also expanded its mobile app into Korea, its first market outside North America, with early performance exceeding management’s expectations.
The company continues to invest in technology, artificial intelligence and analytics to improve digital commerce experiences and expand brand discoverability across large language models (LLMs). These investments support its broader strategy to improve consumer experiences, strengthen customer engagement and drive sustainable growth.
Looking ahead, Ralph Lauren will continue digital expansion to strengthen consumer engagement and support growth across key markets. Mid-teens growth in total digital ecosystem sales, strong performance in Asia and ongoing technology investments highlight the company’s focus on expanding its digital presence. These initiatives are intended to support customer recruitment, reinforce brand desirability and contribute to long-term growth.
