Australia Consumer Price Index (CPI) y/y shows changes in the prices of goods and services from the consumer perspective in the reported quarter compared to the same quarter of the previous year. The index evaluates a basket of 11 groups of goods and services, which account for a larger share of household expenditures.
CPI is one of the measures of consumer sentiment and national inflation.
