BCB National Monetary Council Meeting is held monthly to discuss a variety of issues such as:
- Adaption of the volume of payment means to real needs of the economy;
- Regulation of the external and internal currency value and the balance of payments;
- Use of resources of financial institutions;
- Ensuring of financial institutions' liquidity and solvency;
- Coordination of the monetary, credit, budgetary policy, as well as the policies for internal and external public debt.
