FGV IGP-DI Inflation Index m/m reflects changes in the price movement and inflation indicator in the reported month compared to the previous one. The index is published by the Brazilian Institute of Economics. It is calculated as a weighted average of the Wholesale Price Index, the Consumer Price Index and the Construction Cost Index. This indicator is used in the calculation of gross domestic product and national accounts.
