Retail Sales YTD y/y reflects the percentage change in China's retail sales, from the beginning of the calendar year to current date, compared to the same period of the previous year. The calculation is adjusted for inflation. The index is often called the consumer spending indicator and allows assessing inflation in China. The indicator growth can have a positive effect on the yuan quotes.
