Cotton Slipping Lower on Wednesday

Cotton futures are trading with midday losses of 85 to 95 points across most contracts on Wednesday. Crude oil is 63 cents per barrel lower on the session, with the US dollar index back up $0.485. 

The Seam reported sales on 3,951 bales on October 6 at an average of 82.22 cents/lb. The Cotlook A index was back up 210 points on Tuesday at 91.45. ICE certified cotton stocks were down 4,435 bales on 10/6, with the certified stocks level at 17,756 bales. The Adjusted World Price was down 93 points last week to 65.16 cents/lb.

Oct 26 Cotton  is at 77.48, up 35 points,

Dec 26 Cotton  is at 80.26, down 95 points,

Mar 27 Cotton  is at 83.28, down 89 points
