Edwards Lifesciences Corporation (EW), headquartered in Irvine, California, is a global medical technology company specializing in structural heart disease treatments, with a market capitalization of approximately $49.1 billion. The company develops innovative products, including heart valves and related technologies, partnering with physicians to improve cardiovascular health, extend patients’ lives, and enhance their overall quality of life.
EW is set to report its Q3 2026 earnings after the market closes on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. Ahead of the release, analysts expect diluted EPS of 73 cents, up 9% from 67 cents in the year-ago quarter. Likewise, EW has exceeded Wall Street’s EPS estimates in three of the past four quarters.

For fiscal 2026, analysts expect EW to report EPS of $3, up 17.2% from $2.56 in fiscal 2025. Moreover, EW’s EPS is projected to grow another 13% year over year to $3.39 in fiscal 2027.
EW stock has gained 13.3% over the past 52 weeks, slightly underperforming the S&P 500 Index ($SPX), which advanced 16%, and the State Street Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLV), which rose 18.5% over the same period.
Edwards Lifesciences has lagged the broader market over the past year, mainly because of valuation concerns, intensifying competition in its structural heart business, and pressure on profit margins. In its Q2 2026 earnings release, published July 23, Edwards reported 13.6% revenue growth and raised its full-year sales growth guidance to 10% to 11%. However, foreign exchange headwinds weighed on gross margin expectations, while California tax law changes were expected to push its effective tax rate toward the upper end of its guidance range.
Following the results, EW shares fell 1.4% in the next trading session. Nevertheless, the company reaffirmed its adjusted EPS guidance of $2.95 to $3.05, while strong sales growth and continued expansion in structural heart therapies support a constructive longer-term outlook.
Analysts remain bullish on EW, with the stock carrying a consensus “Strong Buy” rating. Of the 30 analysts covering the stock, 21 recommend a “Strong Buy,” two recommend a “Moderate Buy,” and seven recommend a “Hold.” Meanwhile, the average price target of $101.59 implies potential upside of 19.2% from the current share price.
