What to Expect From Fortinet’s Next Quarterly Earnings Report

Headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, Fortinet, Inc. (FTNT) is a cybersecurity company that develops integrated security and networking solutions. With a market capitalization of $125.4 billion, the company protects businesses’ networks, devices, applications, and data from cyber threats using firewalls, AI-powered threat detection, automated security operations, and secure connectivity technologies.

FTNT is set to report its Q3 fiscal 2026 earnings on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, after the market closes. Ahead of the release, analysts expect the company to report diluted EPS of 77 cents, up 18.5% from 65 cents in the year-ago quarter. Fortinet’s stock reached record highs over the past year, demonstrating notable relative strength against the broader technology sector. Its outperformance was driven by accelerating demand for AI-driven cybersecurity, as expanding AI adoption creates new vulnerabilities and increases the need for advanced cyber defenses. On September 15, Fortinet announced the opening of a company-owned Innovation Hub in New York City to expand customer and partner access to its experts, technology demonstrations, executive briefings, and training. The facility may also strengthen relationships with financial services organizations facing increasingly complex cybersecurity requirements. Following the announcement, FTNT shares rose 1.3% that day.

Yet, analysts remain neutral on FTNT, with the stock carrying a consensus “Hold” rating. Of the 42 analysts covering the stock, nine recommend a “Strong Buy,” 29 rate it a “Hold,” and four recommend a “Strong Sell.” Meanwhile, FTNT’s current share price of $174.05 is above the average analyst price target of $172.31.
