Shares of Flowers Foods, Inc. (NYSE: FLO ) fell sharply in pre-market trading after the company reported downbeat earnings for the second quarter and lowered its FY2026 forecast .
The company posted quarterly earnings of 21 cents per share, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of 23 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.193 billion, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.228 billion
Flowers Foods shares dipped 4.4% to $6.81 in pre-market trading.
