The indicator displays MTF (Money Flow Index) indicator data from all selected timeframes and Symbols in a single table, which allows you to quickly analyze current market price trends.

In the settings you can configure:

MFI indicator settings: Period, Volume type (real / tick).
Each timeframe may be enabled / disabled.
Highlight option: if enabled - key levels will be highlighted in the custom colors.

Extremes (key levels): high and low values;

Alerts: may be enabled for Extreme levels: high MFI / low MFI / both.
Visual styles: size, dark / white theme, highlight colors.

How MFI Works: it's an indicator that combines price and volume data to measure the strength of money flow and identify overbought/oversold conditions. Money Flow Index is similar to the RSI but incorporates trading volume. It is calculated using the following steps:

Calculate the Typical Price (TP).
Determine Raw Money Flow (RMF).
Separate Positive and Negative Money Flow:
Positive Money Flow (PMF) – if the current TP > previous TP;
Negative Money Flow (NMF) – if the current TP < previous TP;
Sum PMF and NMF Over the Period (Usually 14 Candles).
Calculate the Money Flow Ratio (MFR).
Compute the Money Flow Index (MFI)

Interpreting MFI in MetaTrader:

Overbought: MFI > 80 (strong money inflow, potential reversal downward).
Oversold: MFI < 20 (weak money inflow, potential reversal upward).
Divergence: If price rises while MFI falls – a possible reversal signal.

Key Indicator Signals

The indicator generates three types of signals, each serving a specific purpose:

Entry Signals – appear at the very beginning of a new trend when the basis line changes its direction. This is the primary signal to enter the market right at the start of a new move.
Bounce Signals – occur when the price pulls back to the central basis line and bounces off it, continuing the trend. This is an ideal entry point for trend continuation after a minor pullback.
Rejection / TP Signals – are triggered when the price reaches the outer Fibonacci levels. These signals can indicate the exhaustion of the current impulse and serve as a guide for taking profit (Take Profit) or looking for reversal setups.

IBS Strategy for NASDAQ What This EA Does

This EA uses a mean reversion strategy designed primarily for NASDAQ on the daily timeframe, though it can work on other indices as well. It looks for specific market conditions to enter long positions and holds them for 1-2 days maximum.

Performance vs Buy and Hold

From 2017 to 2025, this EA significantly outperformed the typical buy and hold strategy on NASDAQ:

EA Performance: ~1300% return with maximum drawdown of 20%
Buy and Hold: Lower returns with similar or higher drawdowns during market crashes

Important Notes

Backtesting Accuracy

⚠️ Known MT5 Limitation: Percentage matching calculations work perfectly in live trading but may show inflated risk in backtests on brokers using 2-decimal NASDAQ quotes (XXXXX.XX). This is a MetaTrader 5 backtesting engine limitation, not an EA issue.

✅ Live Trading: Accurate on all brokers
✅ Backtesting: Accurate on 1-decimal format (e.g., Darwinex: XXXXX.X)
⚠️ Backtesting: May show incorrect risk on 2-decimal format (XXXXX.XX)

Recommendation: For accurate backtest results with percentage matching, use historical data from brokers with 1-decimal NASDAQ quotes.

MaxSpread (0 means inactive)
Maximum allowed spread for opening new trades. If the spread is higher, the EA will not open trades. Set to 0 to disable this filter.(The numbers shown on the screen may be different depending on your broker. If the EA is not opening positions, you may need to adjust these values.)

Trailing Mode
Select the method used for trailing stop management. Options may include ATR (Average True Range) or Points. ATR mode adjusts the trailing stop dynamically based on market volatility, while Points mode uses a fixed distance.

Trailing Start
Sets the profit level (in points or ATR value, depending on the selected mode) at which the trailing stop will begin to activate. Before this level is reached, the trailing stop will not move.

BreakEven Properties

Enable or disable the break-even feature. When enabled, the EA will move your stop loss to break even after a certain profit is reached, protecting your trade from turning into a loss.

Profit in points required before the stop loss is moved to break even.

Distance in points to set the stop loss after moving to break even.

ReduceBE_SL_ForLotSizeCalc
Reduces the calculation distance value used in lot size calculations when break-even is active. This is useful when there are small differences in closed trades (by a few points) due to calculation imprecision, ensuring more accurate risk management.

News Filter Properties

NewsFilter
Enable or disable the news filter. When enabled, the EA will avoid trading during news events, which can cause unpredictable market moves.

The EA uses the chart’s symbol as the first asset. Therefore, we recommend opening the chart of the asset you consider primary for this strategy. For example, take the U.S. banking sector: chart on JPM. For the second through fifth symbols, use BAC, WFC, C, BK (set in parameters).

IMPORTANT: You should select FIVE instruments that exhibit high mutual correlation—for example:

NVDA, AVGO, AMD, QCOM, ADI (technology)

Attaching to the chart:

DoctorEdge V-LINE is a smart visual indicator designed to detect trend impulses and confirm their strength based on how price reacts around certain dynamic zones.

🟢 Buy Trend:

🟠CONCEPTS
Agglomerative clustering is a bottom-up method that starts by treating each pivot as its own cluster, then repeatedly merges the two closest clusters based on the average distance between their members until only the desired number of clusters remain. This process creates a hierarchy of groupings that can flexibly describe patterns in how price reacts around certain levels. This offers an advantage over K-means clustering, since the number of clusters does not need to be predefined. In this script, it uses an average linkage approach, where distance between clusters is computed as the average pairwise distance of all contained points.

The script finds pivot highs and lows over a set lookback period and saves them in a buffer controlled by the Pivot Memory setting. When there are at least two pivots, it groups them using agglomerative clustering: it starts with each pivot as its own group and keeps merging the closest pairs based on their average distance until the desired number of clusters is left. This number can be fixed or chosen automatically with the silhouette method, which checks how well each point fits in its cluster compared to others (higher scores mean cleaner separation). Once clustering finishes, the script takes the average price of each cluster to create key levels, sorts them, and draws horizontal lines with labels and colors showing their strength. A metrics table can also display details about the clusters to help you understand how the levels were calculated.

If you want the script to pick the number of levels automatically, enable Auto No. Levels; otherwise, set Number of Levels. The colored horizontal lines represent the calculated key levels, and circles show where pivots occurred colored by which cluster they belong to. The labels beside each level indicate its strength, so you can see which levels are supported by more pivots. If Show Metrics Table is enabled, you will see statistics about the clustering in the corner you selected. Use this tool to spot areas where price often reacts and to plan entries or exits around levels that have been significant over time. Adjust settings to better match volatility and history depth of your instrument.

Here are the reasons why you should do your own backtest:

There are a lot of dishonest people who use a lot of coding methods to manipulate backtests results. If you want to avoid being scammed, and if you want to succeed in algorithmic trading, learn how to do your backtest yourself.
Before buying robots, if you don't try to understand how the robot works (strategy), and you use someone's backtest settings to trade, when the robot is in drawdown, you will want to change the inputs settings at every moment. In real account, stop changing the settings, when the robot loses a few trades.
A bot can be profitable depending on the backtest with a broker, then if you change brokers and then do another backtest with the same durations and settings, the bot will no longer be profitable. This is because brokers do not have the same spreads, commissions and swaps. For your backtests, choose brokers, which have small spreads, commissions and swaps, because it has an impact on your profitability. I use the brokers Exness, and IC Market. It's not a broker recommendation that I'm making, make your own choice.

If you want to know, if a robot maked money or not in the past, do the backtest. Stop drawing conclusions in your mind.
