Signal Engine - RSI and MACD Conditions

Every trade entry is gated by the FJU EYE Filter. The following conditions are available. Each one can be enabled or disabled independently:

RSI level filter: enter only when RSI is at or below a threshold, or at or above a threshold
RSI bullish divergence: price makes a lower low while RSI makes a higher low
RSI bearish divergence: price makes a higher high while RSI makes a lower high
MACD histogram rising: histogram value is higher than the previous bar
MACD histogram falling: histogram value is lower than the previous bar
MACD crossover count minimum: require a minimum number of signal-line crossovers since the last zero-line cross
MACD crossover count maximum: cap the crossover count to filter out overextended oscillation
FJU bullish momentum: RSI bullish divergence combined with MACD histogram flipping from negative to positive and crossover count within the configured range
FJU bearish momentum: RSI bearish divergence combined with MACD histogram flipping from positive to negative and crossover count within the configured range
Trade direction: LONG or SHORT, applied when all active conditions pass

The RSI indicator period, MACD fast period, slow period, signal period, and the crossover count range are all configurable via input parameters.

On-Chart Filter Dashboard

When the EA is running, an overlay in the upper-right corner of the chart shows the live status of each active condition. A green value means the condition is passing. A red value means it is not. The RSI and MACD indicator is automatically attached to the chart on EA start so the trader can see the underlying signals at all times during strategy testing.

Trading Strategies

Strategy	Description
CLASSIC	Opens one trade per signal in the direction determined by the EYE Filter (LONG or SHORT). A new trade opens only when there is no existing position on the account for this EA.
CLASSIC_EXTREME	Opens a trade in the EYE Filter direction on every new bar signal regardless of existing open positions. Multiple positions in the same direction can stack up over time.
TREND	Determines direction from the last closed candle body. Opens a long when close is above open (bullish candle). Opens a short when close is below open (bearish candle). Only one position open at a time.
TREND_EXTREME	Same candle direction logic as TREND but opens a new position on every bar signal without waiting for the previous position to close. Positions stack in the direction of the candle.
REVERSE	Opposite of TREND. Opens a short when the last candle closed bullish. Opens a long when the last candle closed bearish. Only one position open at a time.
REVERSE_EXTREME	Same counter-candle logic as REVERSE but stacks positions on every bar signal without waiting for the previous one to close.
CLASSIC_EXTREME_SMART	Stacks positions in the EYE Filter direction, but only when the current price is better than the average open price of all existing positions in that direction. For longs, the ask must be at or below the current average long price. For shorts, the bid must be at or above the current average short price.
CLASSIC_EXTREME_SMART_PLUS	Stacks positions in the EYE Filter direction, but only when the current price is better than the best (highest for longs, lowest for shorts) individual entry price among all open positions in that direction. A stricter entry filter than CLASSIC_EXTREME_SMART.

Dollar Cost Averaging

When DCA is enabled, the EA opens additional positions as the market moves against the initial trade. The basket of positions is closed together when the combined take-profit level is reached. A stop-loss can optionally remain active during DCA sequences. The lot size of each additional position is calculated from the configured trade size settings.

Auto Lot Recovery

When previous trades have resulted in a net loss, the Auto Lot Recovery system calculates a larger lot size for the next trade to recover the deficit. Two modes are available:

From past trades by magic number: reads the actual closed profit and loss of the last N trades belonging to this EA and calculates the exact lot needed to recover
From equity and balance drawdown: monitors live equity against balance and triggers a recovery reset when the gap exceeds the configured threshold

Take-Profit and Stop-Loss Sizing

Four sizing formats are available:

PERCENT_OF_BALANCE: lot size is calculated so that a full price move to zero would cost the configured percentage of account balance (-100% in LONG case). In practice this produces a very small position, so a typical TP or SL hit represents only a fraction of that percentage loss.
PERCENT_OF_EQUITY: same calculation as PERCENT_OF_BALANCE but uses live equity instead of balance, so the lot size adjusts dynamically as equity changes.
CURRENCY_AMOUNT: fixed amount in the account currency
LOT: direct lot size input

Equity Target Auto-Exit

A specific equity value can be configured. When the account reaches that level, the EA closes all open positions and removes itself from the chart. This is useful for running profit targets on challenge accounts or managed accounts.

Notifications (optional)

The EA can send trade reports to Discord via webhook and to Telegram via Bot API. Both are optional. To use them, allow the relevant URLs in MetaTrader 5 under Tools, Options, Expert Advisors, Allow WebRequests for listed URLs. If notifications are not needed, leave the webhook and token fields empty.

Notes

All signal conditions are AND-gated. Every condition that is enabled must pass simultaneously before the EA opens a trade. Disabling a condition removes it from the check entirely. A condition with its default value set to ignore (for example RSI_BELOW = 100 or RSI_ABOVE = 0) has no effect unless changed.
The magic number must be unique per chart instance when running the EA on multiple symbols or timeframes at the same time.

What is Kurtosis?

Kurtosis is a statistical indicator that measures the flatness of the price distribution over a given period. More precisely, it quantifies the importance of extreme price movements compared to a normal distribution. A normal distribution has a kurtosis of 3 — this is the red reference line on the indicator.

Formula

Kurtosis = m₄ / (m₂)²

Where m₂ is the variance of prices and m₄ is the 4th central moment. The more extreme price shocks occurred over the period, the larger the numerator m₄ becomes, and the higher the kurtosis rises.

How to read the indicator

The blue curve is the main value. It oscillates around level 3 (red dotted line). The grey horizontal levels (1, 5, 7, 9, 11) serve as visual reference points to gauge intensity. The real-time value is displayed directly at the tip of the blue curve.

When the curve rises above 3, the market has produced abnormally violent moves over the period. When it drops below 3, prices are moving in a uniform and calm fashion, without extremes.

Practical interpretation

Kurtosis above 3 — leptokurtic regime. The market has experienced sudden shocks, abnormally long candles. This is typical of economic announcements, session openings, or range breakouts. The risk of a violent move is high. Pay attention to position sizing.

Kurtosis equal to 3 — normal regime. Prices are behaving in an ordinary way. Neither too calm nor too explosive. Neutral regime.

Kurtosis below 3 — platykurtic regime. The market is consolidating, prices are moving in a regular and predictable manner. Little risk of surprise. Typical of ranging phases or low liquidity periods.

Key signal to watch

A kurtosis that sharply rebounds from a low level indicates that a violent move has just occurred or is forming. This is not a directional indicator — it does not tell you whether the market will go up or down — but it tells you how much the market is deviating from its normal behaviour.

Recommended settings on H1

For classic day trading on H1, period 50 is the best compromise. It covers approximately 2.5 days of candles, which is statistically sufficient to obtain a stable value without lagging too far behind events. Below 20, the signal becomes too erratic. Above 100, it reacts too slowly to be useful for intraday trading.

Relayer TPs off TP1	Recalculates TP2–TP5 from the current TP1 value using the configured offsets and pushes the new prices to all linked trades.
Close All Trades	Closes every open basket position at market. Panel and tracking state reset automatically once all positions are confirmed closed.
