Trading logic

Break-Even moves the Stop Loss to the entry price once a defined profit threshold is reached.
Trailing Stop adjusts the Stop Loss in the direction of the trade as the price moves favorably, maintaining a configurable distance.
For both features, a start value in points can be defined at which Break-Even or Trailing is automatically activated.
Both features are configured separately for each order type (Market, Limit, Stop) and each direction (Buy, Sell).
Only one mode can be active per order type at a time: None, Break-Even, or Trailing.

MULTI-INSTANCE SUPPORT

Each panel can receive its own ID. This means each panel only manages its own positions — multiple panels can run independently on the same symbol, each with its own configuration.

HOW IT WORKS

CRT (Candle Range Theory) is based on liquidity sweeps around a higher-timeframe

range. The scanner automates this process across all your pairs at once:

1. It reads the previous H4 candle's High and Low as the \"range\".

2. It then watches the H1 candles that formed after that H4 candle closed.

3. If an H1 candle's wick broke ABOVE the H4 High but its CLOSE came back

INSIDE the range → Bearish CRT setup (liquidity swept above, expect a move down).

4. If an H1 candle's wick broke BELOW the H4 Low but its CLOSE came back

INSIDE the range → Bullish CRT setup (liquidity swept below, expect a move up).

How It Works

Apex Quant XAU operates on a layered signal architecture:

It also identifies Fair Value Gaps (FVG), areas of imbalance left by institutional impulses that the price tends to revisit and fill.

Layer 2 — RSI Divergences + Order Blocks: The EA detects bullish and bearish RSI divergences, situations where the price marks a new extreme but momentum doesn't confirm it, signaling an imminent reversal. At the same time, it maps Order Blocks: the last opposing candle before a strong impulse move, which act as institutional supply and demand zones. Entries are only triggered when the price returns to these zones with a confirming candle.

Layer 3 — Price Action Confirmation: Each signal is confirmed by classic price action patterns: Engulfing candles, Pin Bars, Inside Bars, and Breakouts, all validated against the 8/21 EMA trend filter.

Layer 4 — EMA Cross Trend Filter: No trades are opened against the current EMA trend. Bullish signals require a fast EMA above a slow EMA; bearish signals, the opposite. This prevents counter-trend entries in directional markets.

Risk Management

Apex Quant XAU includes a professional risk engine focused on capital preservation:

Three lot sizing modes: Fixed lot, fixed percentage of risk per trade, or dynamic sizing based on equity
