The advisor opens two oppositely directed orders. When one of them is closed in profit, two orders are reopened, the volume of orders increases depending on the volume of the Multiplier_Volume multiplier and the number of orders opened by the advisor. In each new open pair, orders are opened with an equal volume, locking each other. Opening of pairs continues until the number of orders of the same type reaches the number Limit_for_orders, then the advisor will only increase the grid, excluding locking.

How Round Lock works:

The advisor opens a pair of oppositely directed orders (buy/sell), thereby fixing the position and controlling volatility.
Each new pair opens only after one of the orders of the previous pair is closed by Take Profit.
Thus, the distance between order groups is adjusted automatically - due to take profit.

Smart extension mechanics:

With each new opening of pairs, the volume of orders increases depending on the specified MultiplierVolume and the number of previously opened positions.
All pairs of orders are symmetrical in volume, which allows for effective hedging of risks.
Opening of new locking pairs continues until the set limit is reached - Limit_for_Locked_Groups.
After reaching the limit, the advisor switches to the one-way build-up mode, completely abandoning new locks and continuing trading in the specified direction.

Limit_for_Locked_Groups - the maximum number of orders of the same type for opening orders in multi-directional groups,
_Lots_ - Volume of the first transaction in a group of orders in lots,

Same as Harrow Order, the Support and Resistance position is used to detect entry point of orders. Anti-Martingale method is used when the order can potentially be doubled. For example, a buy order at the increasing of market price. The next order will be sent the same type order, but with half lot. For example, if the initial profitable order is Buy with lot 0.2, then at the next Support or Resistance position, the next order will be Buy with lot 0.1, then 0.05, 0.02, etc.

And Martingale method is used to recover the misplaced order. For example, a buy order at decreasing market price. In the Harrow Order, the next order has a double lot, but this EA uses Anti-Martingale lot for the subsequent orders, and still uses Martingale calculation in background. So actually this EA still applies Martingale method as same as Harrow Order, and the maximum martingale level can be set with the MaximumMartingale parameter.

\r\n

Since the EA uses Martingale method, this EA needs a high equity of balance where have ratio 1:200000 with initial lots that will be used. For example, if the EA uses a lot size of 0.1, the required balance is 20000 USD, and if the EA uses a lot size of 0.01 then the required balance is 2000 USD, etc.

\r\n

However this EA is not safe for working by itself. Trader needs to be keep watching and take action if something bad is going on with this EA.

Pairs and timeframes

\r\n

This EA is recommended for use on the EURUSD pair with the M1 timeframe. But Harrow Strikes can also be used on other pairs like USDJPY, EURJPY and EURGBP, with initial balance as recommended. You can try other pairs, with suitable different parameter values, especially the NumCandle variation values.

Initial balance requirement

\r\n

The recommended balance to use the EA is 20000 USD with Lots 0.1.

\r\n

Parameters

\r\n

MagicNumber - the mark number used to identify orders, which are sent and managed by this EA. If this EA runs on multiple pairs, every pair must be run with different magic number, for example: GBPUSD - 100001, EURUSD - 200002, XAUUSD - 300003.
NumCandle - the number of candles used to calculate Support and Resistance. The default value is 60 candles. If this EA is used on the M1 timeframe and NumCandle=60, it is equal to 60 minutes or 1 hour. So the Support and Resistance levels used by this EA are the Support and Resistance for the last hour.
CloseAtStop - the option to close or not all orders at Remove EA action. Only removes orders that have magic number specified in MagicNumber above.
OrderLots - initial lots value used for the initial orders. i.e OrderLots=0.01, 0.02, 0.04, 0.08, etc.
MaximumMartingale - the maximum Martingale order. Default value is 6, i.e. the maximum Martingale multiplier is 2⁵=32. So for virtual order, back calculations will use the maximum Martingale until multiplier 32. It will affect the decision of lot value of real next order to be sent.
DeltaLevel - the level of distance between two orders. It depends on the width of Support and Resistance. If the range is too narrow, the distance between orders can be widened by increasing the value in this parameter.
SlipPage - the slippage value used for every new order request.

The logic

TrailPoints - the number of points in profit to modify a deal.
SLTrail - the number of points for breakeven. Trailing will be triggered only when a new candle is formed.

NoModBuy - the same logic as in the previous parameter. Only for buy deals.

The logic

According to the given algorithm, the EA determines local support and resistance levels (at startup, the previous quotes are disregarded). When a candle closes beyond any level, a deal is opened in the opposite direction, expecting a price rebound. By default, take profit and stop loss are set at a ratio of 1:1, but you can change this in the parameters, if necessary. The maximum number of simultaneously open deals is 3. This is a safety measure, which prevents opening a lot of deals against a trend when it is formed. If the price breaks through the resistance level and continues to move in the same direction, the EA will monitor the formation of a new support level. Such manipulation allows minimizing losses.

SLTrail - the number of points for breakeven. Trailing will be triggered only when a new candle is formed.
NoModSell - when set to true, open sell deals will not be modified when a new support level is formed. If set to false, there are no restrictions on the modification.
NoModBuy - the same logic as in the previous parameter. Only for buy deals.
Intellect - allow the EA to automatically make decisions on the modification of deals. Set to true to activate, set it to false to disable. In most cases, the use of this parameter has a good effect.
ProfitPlus - the stop loss and take profit are set a ratio of 1:1 by default. This parameter allows increasing the take profit value by the specified number of points relative to stop loss.
Lot - volume for every deal. The volume is fixed.

How to Trade

In general, each detected pattern will show you which direction to trade. Therefore, trading is really simple. Using this software requires at least some knowledge on risk and reward management in the financial trading. Check the performance of each pattern with your own eyes in your MetaTrader strategy tester before buying. Typically the pattern traders uses second confirmation to confirm the trading direction with patterns. The typical second confirmation can include fundametals and other technical indicators.

Recovery Profit Pips: Pips to be won by the last trade for the recovery to complet
Recovery Trades Type: Instant or Pending (Instant recommended)
Set Take Profit At Profit Exit Levels (not recommended) : For selecting if trades will close with TP/SL or instant trades
If the option is false(as recommended) can configure the following two

Min Profit Amount To Exit Trades : Trades to be in profit before closing
Protective TP and SL : A wider TP/SL is added to trades in case MT4 is disconnected

RecoveryLotMethod option allows you to select the method the Recovery lot sizes get calculated

Profit_In_Amount: Once recovery is over the Net Amount Won will be equal to this
Multiplier_Addition: Each trade will be a multiple and addition of the previous trade
Custom Lots: User can specify own lots modify Lot Size. It is done automatic.

Max Active Trades: Max trades that can be opened
Close Trades When Max Trades Exceeded: If max number of trades is reached and last opened trade is losing the Recovery Pips Gap all trades closes
Max Profit Amount : Closes all trades once the account’s total open profit reach this amount
Max Loss Amount: Closes all trades once the account’s total open losses reach this amount
Max Spread: Max Spread for trades to be placed. Is highly suggested to set a max spread to prevent multiple recovery trades when spread becomes abnormal

Condition #1: Current Bar Size > x% of the average: one of the conditions for a strong bar is to have its body size greater than x% of the last bars average, configure here this %. Inform 0 to compare against the average, no variations.
Condition #2: Tail Size: another condition for a strong bar is that its candle has a very short tail that gives power to the candle. Configure here how big in % the tail has to be in comparison to the enire candle body to be considered a strong bar. Inform 100% to ignore tail's size.
Condition #3: Crossed Top's / Bottom's: a strong bar is greater (if bullish) or lower (if bearish) than the last bars, it means it is strong to break through previous prices areas. To avoid fake signals, inform here the % of the last High or last Low for confirmation of a stong bar. Inform 0 to consider last High's and last Low's without any margin.
Shows Price Arrows and Tags for Online: make it true if you want the indicator to show you the price exactly where the signal has been produced (works better when parameter waiting for bar close is false).

Default input values are for EURUSD, if using on other pairs optimization of InvisibleStopLoss, TakeProfit, BarLookBack, TooCloseBars, TrailingStopStart & TrailingStopPrecentage are needed to find the best results. Turn money management off when optimizing so that performance in the latter half of the test isn't weighted and better overall results are easier to spot. When optimizing, test over the last six month period, and when checking which settings are best, test a longer period of atleast two years to check out of sample data, this will reduce the chance of settings being overfitted.

Important

Please note that due to the multifunctionality neither buy/sell advice nor lines and arrows will be drawn on the chart where the indicator is installed. They will be drawn on the new chart which will be opened when clicking on a signal in the panel. It is highly advisable to put the indicator on a clean chart without any other indicators or Expert Advisors on it which could interfere with the scanner.

Master candle strategy

Master Candle (MC) is a trading strategy based on a candle formation where the first (master) candle is followed by 4 smaller candles which are inside the first candle. The whole formation is built of 5 candles, independent of if bearish or bullish.

Timeframes: H1 and H4 charts. Even if the MC strategy works best on H1 it can be traded on all timeframe and currency pairs. Mainly on H4, H1 and M30 charts.

Currency pairs: Trades best on volatile pairs such as GBPUSD and GBPJPY.

After breaking MC high/low a position will be taken in the direction of the break. It is recommended that the MC has a size of 40 to 100 pips (but it depends on the volatility of the currency pair in question). It is also recommended to put stop orders for instance 5 pips above and below the MC high/low.

Some traders also use the rule that a break in any direction should occur during the next 3 candles after the MC creation (5 ^th candle). Anyway, it is highly recommended to cancel any stop order if there is no break after 24 hours.

Finally it is for better results recommended to trade in the direction of the trend as well as to avoid trading at strong and important price levels - resistances and supports. It is also advisable not to trade MC which appears inside another MC.

Equilibrium Fractal Wave Index

Equilibrium Fractal Wave index is an exploratory analysis tool for your trading. How to use the EFW index is similar to Hurst Exponent by Harold Edwin Hurst (1880-1978) or Fractal Dimension coined by Mandelbrot in 1975. Literarily, EFW index can help you to confirm the presence of equilibrium fractal waves in the financial market. However, Equilibrium fractal wave index is more practical and intuitive comparing to Hurst Exponent and Fractal Dimension for your trading. The value of equilibrium fractal wave index can range from 0.0 to over 1.0. The higher the equilibrium fractal wave index, you can confirm the stronger presence of a particular shape ratio of equilibrium fractal wave. Hence this ratio will be your choice of trading. If you stronly believe on fibonacci ratios like 0.618, 0.382, etc, then you may skip this part because default ratio setting uses 0.382, 0.500 and 0.618. However, you will find that some fibonacci ratios are not significant for some currency pairs.

Superimposed Patterns

Expected value (in the context of the indicator use) is the number of the HMA indicator bars in the same direction in history, where the HMA indicator had reversed on average

Standard deviation (in the context of the indicator use) - the HMA indicator is most likely to reverse in the range of bars from ME-SD to ME+SD (where ME is the expected value, SD is the standard deviation)

In practice, impulse movements are noted to occur most often in the range of ME+SD bars, and the retracement movements take place within the range of ME-SD bars

You can use all statistical data in your Expert Advisor through indicator buffers.

How is this applied?

If you know that the slow HMA is probable to change the movement direction, do not open a deal, since the old trend has already been exhausted, and the probability of reversal or correction is high

If you see a possibility of the fast HMA switching in the near future, open a deal at the end of the retracement movement and close a profitable deal at the end of the impulse movement

Optimization & Defaults

Default input values are for USDJPY, if using on other pairs optimization of Input1 and Input2 are needed to find the best results. Turn money management off when optimizing so that performance in the latter half of the test isn't weighted and better overall results are easier to spot. When optimizing, test over a year period or more, and when checking which settings are best, test an even longer period to check out of sample data, this will reduce the chance of settings being overfit.

General Recommendations

The minimum deposit is $100, use an ECN account with the minimum spread, default settings reccomend for eurusd m5 gmt +3.

Input parameters

The product works both on 4 and 5-digit quotes. Specify values in points like for 5 decimal places in the input parameters, and it will automatically recalculate everything for 4 decimal places.

NewCycle - when enabled, the EA works non-stop, otherwise, the EA does not open new orders after a series of trades is complete.
Period indicator1 - period of the first indicator;
Up level - the upper level of the first indicator, above which the EA will open Sell;
Down Level - the lower level of the first indicator, below which the EA will open Buy;
