3. Breakout Logic

The scanner's core function is not just to find the patterns, but to wait for a confirmed breakout from the Mother Bar. This confirmation has a very specific rule implemented in the indicator:

A valid breakout is confirmed only when a candle closes above the Mother Bar's high or closes below the Mother Bar's low.

This is a critical distinction. A candle's wick (its high or low) can temporarily pierce the Mother Bar's range, but if the candle does not close outside of it, the indicator will not register it as a breakout. It waits for a decisive close, which serves as a stronger confirmation of the market's intent.

4. Breakout Types: Reversal vs. Continuation

Use charts H1 and higher. Better to use Daily charts. Never use use 1min, 5min charts.
Wait for 3 red dots
After 3 red dots appeared, wait for the bar closing upper or lower of Bollinger Bands. The bar should close above/below band, not touch it.
If dot on that bar is not red anymore, but black or white, enter in market
Place your stop on 3 times 14th period ATR. Another option is to place your stop on the opposite band.
Start to move your stop when opposite band become equal to you entry price
Trail your stop with opposite band
Make decision of taking profits on 1:1 risk reward ratio
Price can have deep pullbacks and can return to your entry price. Do not exit from the position, exit with profit or on the stop loss.

Just name it and you will get it! There is no currency pair this Currency Meter cannot solve. No matter how rare or exotic is that currency, it will always be solved by this Currency meter on a real-time basis. Sounds good, right? Check it out and backtest it, because I really mean it.

All you need to do is name four currencies and let the currency meter do all the calculations. This currency meter also has a very useful specification: just name the currency you want and the meter will scan all the pairs on your MetaTrader 4 and look for the best pair that will fit your currency and all of this is on a real-time basis.

If the currency you named is strong, the currency meter will simply scan all your pairs and look for the weakest currency that could be traded on your currency of choice. TIME_FRAME - Strength Meter works in all timeframes! Just choose timeframe from M1 to MN. *Note: choosing \"current\" means you choose your current timeframe on your chart.
PERIOD - input number of candles you want to choose. *Note: Period \"0\" means choosing the current candle.
First_Currency - name the 1st currency you want to get the strength (case-sensitive).
Second_Currency - name the 2nd currency you want to get the strength (case-sensitive).
Third_Currency - name the 3rd currency you want to get the strength (case-sensitive).
Fourth_Currency - name the 4th currency you want to get the strength (case-sensitive).
First_COLOR - color of the 1st currency.
Second_COLOR - color of the 2nd currency.
Third_COLOR - color of the 3rd currency.
Fourth_COLOR - color of the 4th currency.
Font_1 - font of objects on the right side of the chart.
Font_2 - font of objects on the left side of the chart.
ALERT

Alert_PAIR - activate alert if there are two currencies going in different directions meaning one is strong, the other one is weak. This would mean that one currency is above 70% and the other one is below 30%.
Alert_CURRENCY - activate alert if there is one currency that is strong or weak. Meaning, either it is higher than 70% or lower than 30%.
ALERT_OFF - choose if you do not want alerts.

Sound_Alert__1 - choose sound alert when a currency is above 70% (ALERT_LEVEL_1_STRONG) or below 30% (ALERT_LEVEL_1_WEAK).
Sound_Alert_2 - choose sound alert when a currency is above 90% (ALERT_LEVEL_2_STRONG) or below 10% (ALERT_LEVEL_2_WEAK).

ALERT_LEVEL_1_STRONG - first level where the currency is getting strong. This should be lower than ALERT_LEVEL_2_STRONG. By default, its value is 70.

What are Psychological Levels?

This indicator have two mode, each mode have two option:

1) Search pattern in range: 4 point (X,A,B,C) is from (min-tolence) to (max+tolence) of fibonancy level. In this case, you should reduce a tolence value.

a. Option No need to confirm peak (Is fast=true) will search from fisrt (not confirm) extreme point. This option will find patterm as soon as possible but some time point C is move cause first extreme point move.

b. Option Have to confirm peak (Is fast=fast) will search from second extreme point (stable). This option will latency but more stable

2) Search pattern in exactly: 4 point is exactl fibonancy level side by side . So if fib level at xbmin (add or minus tolence), bd have to at min also. Use this option, you should increase tolence.

a. Option No need to confirm peak (Is fast=true) is same in first mode but C not move alot.

b. Option Have to confirm peak (Is fast=fast) is same in first mode

When pattern found, this indicator draw 2 vertical line (XDmin,XDmax) and (BDmin,BDmax). The intersection of 2 line is D potetial. With mode search pattern in exactly, there no intersection of 2 line in some case (especially when the tolence is low). This mean that harmozup pattern can not complete in this case.

How to use:

Alerts when news are coming can be turn on to specific number of minutes before event, or off ( to turn off set input param Alert1MinsBefore =-1 and Alert2MinsBefore =-1)

This is complex EA with lots of input parameters, you don't need to worry about any of them, just run this on any chart and set first parameter to false;

It works great and its very practical indicator/EA. I wasn't able to find anything like this for MT5, and it was almost impossible to make and bring it here to mql5.com, but impossible can't stop me, so here you are.

2 ===== STRATEGY =====

This section configures the market entry logic.

Parameters: Set Period K, Period D, Slowing, and Overbought/Oversold levels (default 20 and 80).

Basic Logic: Buy when the line is below 20. Sell when the line is above 80.

Confirmation (Price Action): If UseCandleConfirmation is enabled, the advisor changes tactics:

Upon receiving a signal from Stochastic, it does not enter immediately.

It waits for a candle of the correct color to close (Green for Buy, Red for Sell).

Variant 1: MULTIPLY

The lot of the previous losing trade is multiplied by the MartingaleValue number.

Martingale_Max_Steps (Step Limit):

Safety setting. Determines how many times in a row the advisor is allowed to increase volume.

If 0: Infinite increase (classic martingale).

If 5: Volume grows for the first 5 losses. Starting from the 6th consecutive loss, volume stops growing and is fixed at the 5th step level until the series ends in profit.

Margin Check – before placing an order, the advisor automatically checks if there is enough free margin; if not, the trade is skipped.

Yes, it is universal, but with one caveat regarding Netting.

Detailed breakdown by types:

Hedging: Yes, full support.

The advisor code (especially Pyramiding functions UsePyramiding and position count limits MaxPositions) is originally designed for hedging, where multiple trades can be opened on one instrument simultaneously.

Netting: Works, but strategy changes.

There is a check in the code: if(AccountInfoInteger(ACCOUNT_MARGIN_MODE) == ACCOUNT_MARGIN_MODE_RETAIL_NETTING). The advisor understands it is on netting.

Limitation: On a netting account, you cannot physically have 3 different positions (as configured in MaxPositions = 3). How to use

Apply the indicator to any timeframe on the symbol you want to use as the first instrument (Symbol1).
Open the indicator’s properties window and specify the second symbol (Symbol2) to analyze the spread with.
Set the cointegration period and the Z-Score calculation period, as well as the desired threshold.
Choose the lot-sizing method: manually enter both sizes or leave the automatic calculation of the second lot by volatility.
When signals appear on the chart, refer to the color of the labels:

Green – buy
Red – sell
