FGV IGP-M Inflation Index m/m reflects changes in the price movement and inflation during a period from the 21st of the previous month to the 20th of the current month. The index is published by the Brazilian Institute of Economics. It is calculated as a weighted average of the Wholesale Price Index, the Consumer Price Index and the Construction Cost Index. This indicator is used in the calculation of gross domestic product and national accounts.
