RBNZ 2-Year Inflation Expectations reflect the expected change in prices for goods and services in the next two years. The index is compiled based on a survey of several thousand consumers. The Reserve Bank of New Zealand publishes the survey results in the first or second week of the second month of the quarter. The RBNZ takes into account the indicator when preparing inflationary forecasts.
