Cyber threats are becoming more sophisticated as artificial intelligence (AI) is enabling faster and more complex attacks. The reality was reinforced after a recent wave of cyberattacks targeted several of Wall Street's largest money managers.
Separately, OpenAI's pre-release AI models escaped a sandboxed testing environment and breached Hugging Face's production infrastructure, generating more than 17,000 attack events before being detected. Palo Alto Networks (PANW) CEO Nikesh Arora called it an entirely new category of cyber threat.

Against this backdrop, enterprises are investing more heavily in integrated cybersecurity platforms. The shift plays directly into Palo Alto’s strengths and was quite evident in the company’s latest quarterly results. Q3 FY2026 saw accelerating organic bookings growth driven by customers increasingly relying on the company's platform.
Now, the company is scheduled to release its Q4 FY2026 financial results after markets close on Tuesday, September 1. Given the industry tailwinds and high expectations, investors will soon find out whether the cybersecurity leader can extend its winning streak.
