MetaTrader 5 for Desktop is a full-featured trading platform for Forex, Stocks, Futures, and other markets supported by your broker.
It provides trading functionality, technical and fundamental market analysis, copy trading, and automated trading.
What tools are available in MetaTrader 5 for Desktop?
MetaTrader 5 for Desktop includes tools for trading, market analysis, automation, and risk monitoring:

Can I trade without installing MetaTrader 5?
Yes. MetaTrader 5 Web Trading allows you to trade directly from your browser without installing the desktop platform.
You only need an Internet connection, a supported browser, and a trading account.
When should I use the web platform?
Use MetaTrader 5 Web Trading when you need quick access to your account from a browser.
It is useful if you are using another computer, working on a device where installation is not possible, or want to access the platform from a different operating system.
Can I trade on mobile?
Yes. MetaTrader 5 Mobile Platforms allow you to trade Forex, Stocks, and other supported instruments from a smartphone or tablet.
Use the mobile app to monitor markets, manage positions, and access your trading account when you are away from your desktop terminal.
Which platform should I choose?
Choose the platform depending on how you want to access your trading account:

What is Tradays Economic Calendar?
Tradays Economic Calendar is an application for tracking economic news and events that may affect Forex, stock, and other financial markets.
The mobile version includes economic indicators with descriptions, forecast values, historical data, and alerts for upcoming events.
What is MQL5 Channels?
MQL5 Channels is a secure messaging application for traders, financial services users, and MQL5.com members.
It supports direct messages, channels, and chat rooms, and allows you to access conversations from phones, tablets, and computers.
Do I need a broker account after downloading MetaTrader 5?
Yes. Downloading MetaTrader 5 gives you access to the trading platform, but trading accounts are provided by brokers.
Your broker provides account login details, trading servers, available instruments, prices, spreads, commissions, and execution conditions.
Why are available instruments different after installation?
Available markets depend on the broker and trading server you connect to.
For example, Forex, Stocks, Futures, and other instruments may be available only if your broker provides them.
What if the download or installation does not start?
- Check your Internet connection.
- Make sure your device and operating system are supported.
- Try using another browser if the download does not start.
- Check whether your antivirus or system settings block the installer.
- If the issue is related to account login or server access, contact your broker.
