CPI excl. Energy and Unprocessed Food m/m reflects a change in prices for a basket of goods and services in the current month compared to the previous month. Calculation does not include energy and unprocessed food, since their prices can fluctuate greatly during the same month.
CPI growth against insufficient inflation can be seen as positive for EUR. However in recession, the rise in CPI may lead to a more severe economic downturn and fall in the currency.
