The Consumer Price Index Ex Food & Energy m/m measures changes in prices of consumer goods and services in the euro area in the specified month compared to the previous one. Food, alcohol, tobacco and energy prices are excluded from the indicator due to their high volatility. The indicator is calculated from the consumer's point of view based on the data about purchased goods and services.
The indicator growth can have a positive effect on the euro quotes.
