ISM Non-Manufacturing Prices Paid index is one of the elements included in the calculation of the service sector PMI (Purchasing Managers Index). The index is calculated monthly according to the survey of purchasing managers from 16 industries of the US service sector. Respondents estimate whether prices in their industry are growing, falling or remain at the same level.
A reading above 50 indicates the sector growth.
