YuClusters is a professional market analysis system. The trader has unique opportunities to analyze the flow of orders, trade volumes, price movements using various charts, profiles, indicators, and graphical objects. YuClusters operates on data based on Time&Sales or ticks information, depending on what is available in the quotes of a financial instrument.

YuClusters allows you to build graphs by combining data into clusters according to various criteria:

- Time interval, the criterion is set in seconds.
- Price range, the criterion is set in points. The current cluster is closed when the deal price goes beyond the specified price range. In that case, the current deal is included in the current cluster, while the next one opens a new cluster. The range is calculated as the difference between the High and Low price in the cluster.
- The difference (delta) between buy and sell volumes. The current cluster is closed when the delta with the next deal exceeds the specified volume. The next deal opens the next cluster.
- Total volume of deals. The current cluster is closed when the total volume of purchases and sales in the cluster exceeds the specified volume after one of the deals.
- Number of ticks. The cluster is formed by the specified number of ticks.
- Deal type. A cluster is formed by deals of the same type.
- Reversal price. The cluster is formed when the price passes given number of points in the opposite direction.

There are 8 types of cluster representation:

- \"Delta\" - display the delta.
- \"Delta %\" - display the delta as a percentage of the corresponding ASK or BID volume.
- \"BID + ASK\" - display the sum of BID+ASK volumes.
- \"ASK & BID\" - display the ASK and BID volumes separately, the ASK volume is drawn in the upper half of the cluster cell, the BID volume is drawn in the lower half.
- \"BID x ASK\" - display the ASK and BID volumes separately, the ASK volume is drawn to the right, while the BID volume is drawn to the left of the cluster center.
- \"Delta and BID+ASK\" - display the delta and the sum of BID+ASK volumes.
- \"Delta% and BID+ASK\" - display the delta as a percentage and the sum of BID+ASK volumes.
- \"BID x ASK, Delta background \" - display the ASK and BID volumes separately, the background of the cell is determined by the value of the delta.

YuClusters features built-in filters, profiles, indicators and graphical objects.

YuClusters has a powerful system of alerts, which can be set to events related to clusters, volumes, prices and built-in indicators.

When using YuClusters with IShift Lite utility, it is possible to carry out trading operations directly from the clusters chart.

Most of the classic indicators that make up the common trading strategies are based on simple math, not because when these indicators were created there were no outstanding mathematicians (in fact there were probably best mathematicians then than now), but because computers did not exist or they simply had a low processing power to perform complex mathematical operations consistently. Nowadays, any smartphone surpasses overwhelmingly the most powerful computer just a few decades ago. So the ability to process huge amounts of information is not a limitation in these days, except for extremely complex process simulations.

Advanced Price Movement Predictor (APMP) indicator takes advantage of current processing capacity to capture the essence of price swings through some of the most advanced mathematical, statistical and probabilistic concepts.

APMP does not provide a prediction itself, since the price movement is a non-stationary stochastic process and therefore it is not predictable. However, it makes a dynamic and highly reliable estimation of the immediate price movement.

So far the trend is almost always obtained from classic indicators like Moving Averages, Bollinger Bands or Parabolic SAR, or simply by the traditional method of manually drawing a line (or two parallel lines) between two or more significant points.

Obviously, those indicators and methods are still valid, especially since they are used by most of the traders, but do most of them obtain sustained profits? We have the intuition that they do not. With this indicator you can strengthen or improve your current trading method, or you can simply dismiss it because you will see that even the most chaotic behavior, such as the market price, respects the large numbers and is limited to the rigor of the all powerful mathematical laws.

How to Use It

\r\n

Basically, the use of APMP is not different from how you regularly use trends, and support and resistance levels. The fundamental difference is in the reliability and robustness of those values calculated by this indicator.

\r\n

Regular use of APMP is as follows:

\r\n

For trading strategies based on the trend, traders must buy in areas near the support levels while the trend is up, and sell in areas close to the resistance levels while the trend is down.

\r\n

For trading strategies based on trend corrections (counter trend), traders must buy in areas near the support levels while the trend is down, and sell in areas near the resistance levels while the trend is up.

\r\n

Notice that significant levels can act either as supports or resistances, so it is important to keep that in mind when designing our trading strategy and pay special attention to the price behavior whenever it is close to those levels.

\r\n

The Stop Loss could be located at a distance from the open price equal to the separation between the support and the resistance levels, and Take Profit distance could be twice the previous separation. Also, it would be a good idea to use a Trailing Stop feature to move the Stop Loss when support and resistance levels are moving in favor of the position.

\r\n

The strategy outlined above is only a basic suggestion, but APMP provides enough information to create a variety of trading strategies and improve the existing ones.

\r\n

How It Works

\r\n

APMP shows the following information:

\r\n

Support and resistance levels closest to the market price in the current timeframe and for the rest of higher periods.
The real trend and the most probable short-term price movement in the current timeframe and for the rest of higher periods.
Alerts when congestion zones appear and when the price crosses any of the important levels. Congestion zones are those where 2 or more levels coincide.

\r\n

Users can also enable dialog box and email alerts. Both APMP and MetaTrader alerts are accompanied by beeps (audible alert). Moreover, all alerts are printed on 'Experts' tab to allow future reference and analysis.

\r\n

Note: when APMP is attached to a symbol for the first time or after a long time, it may take up to a minute to process all the data from the different timeframes to evaluate, so we recommend that you update all periods of the symbol(s) you want to use, and thus, APMP will work properly from the start.

This new unique indicator Actual Tick Footprint (Volume Chart) is developed for using on Futures markets, and it allows seeing the \r\n volume of real deals right when they are performed. The indicator Actual Tick Footprint (Volume Chart) represents a greatly enhanced tick chart that includes additional \r\n information about the volume of deal performed at a specific price. In \r\n addition, this unique indicator for MetaTrader 5 allows to clearly \r\n detecting a deal type – buy or sell.

Similar to the standard tick chart, the indicator draws three lines in the window:

\r\n

Bid line.
Ask line.
Last line. Circles with digits displayed on it indicate the volume\r\n of a deal performed at the given price. The size of circles is \r\n proportional to the volume of deals, and the color is for the type of \r\n deals. Red circle indicates that a deal has been performed by the Bid \r\n price (interpreted as Sell), and green circle indicates that a deal has \r\n been performed by the Ask price (interpreted as Buy).

\r\n

Information provided by this indicator is essential for scalping on \r\n Futures markets as it allows detecting many patterns and get information\r\n which is not available to ordinary traders. For example:

Deals with extremely high volume. Further, the price of that deals will probably be a resistance level.
Deals of what type are performed in a given range - Buy or Sell. It allows estimating a direction of exiting from accumulation.
Behavior of traders during an impulse and passing a level - whether everybody buys or sells at a sharp change of the price?
… and many other situations.

The indicator includes the built-in system of filtration, and it \r\n displays only new deals that are performed at a changed price or with a \r\n greater volume. 1 lot deals are displayed but they don't have captions \r\n on the chart; it allows concentrating on main information.

\r\n

I recommend attaching Actual Tick Footprint (Volume Chart) indicator to М1 or М5 chart and selecting the best scale. It will allow\r\n taking optimal decisions when scalping and when searching for an \r\n optimal entry to the market on a longer period.

\r\n

To understand the behavior of participants of the market and to \r\n interpret the volumes, I recommend using this indicator together with my\r\n other development – the product Actual Depth of Market Chart which displays the market depth histogram.

\r\n

The parameters of the indicator allow setting up the chart appearance:

Ticks on chart – number of last displayed deals.
Scale in pips – height of the vertical scale in points. You should adjust the value considering the current volatility.

Application

\r\n

Chaikin Money Flow can be used to define a general buying or\r\n selling bias simply with positive or negative values. The indicator oscillates\r\n above/below the zero line. Generally, buying pressure is stronger when the\r\n indicator is positive and selling pressure is strong when the indicator is\r\n negative.

\r\n

While this zero line cross seems simple enough, the reality is\r\nmuch choppier. Chaikin Money Flow sometimes only briefly crosses the zero line\r\nwith a move that turns the indicator barely positive or negative. There is no\r\nfollow through and this zero line cross ends up becoming a whipsaw (bad\r\nsignal). Chartists can filter these signals with buffers by setting the bullish\r\nthreshold a little above zero (+.05) and the bearish threshold a little below\r\nzero (-.05). These thresholds will not entirely eliminate bad signals, but can\r\nhelp reduce whipsaws and filter out weaker signals.

Of course, a backtest cannot tell you everything you need. For example, GBPUSD is now changing direction to a downward trend (at ~1.64000 on 02.12.2013).

It's a good opportunity to use the grid strategy to benefit from that fall. Test previous up and down trends to adjust the best grid for this pair. You need to use a little brain to have results with this strategy, not just run it wild. Or \"run it wild\" only when you think the up/down trend is going to continue.

Optimization should be carried out on the history of the last two years or more, on any period . Optimization can be carried out on the \"opening prices\", but then double-check the result on \"OHLC on M1\".

The Entry Strategy

The Turtles learned two breakout variants or \"systems\". System One (S1) used a 20-day price breakout for entry. However, the entry was filtered by a rule that was designed to increase the odds of catching a big trend, which states that a trading signal should be ignored if the last signal was profitable.

But this filter rule had a built-in problem. What if the Turtles skipped the entry breakout and that skipped breakout was the beginning of a huge and profitable trend that roared up or down? Not good to be on the sidelines with a market taking off!

If the Turtles skipped a System One 20-day breakout and the market kept trending, they could and would get back in at the System Two (S2) 55-day breakout. This fail-safe System Two breakout was how the Turtles kept from missing big trends that were filtered out.

The entry strategy using System Two is as follows:

Buy a 55-day breakout if we are not in the market;
Short a 55-day breakout if we are not in the market.

The entry strategy using System One is as follows:

Buy a 20-day breakouts if last S1 signal was a loss;
Short a 20-day breakouts if last S1 signal was a loss.

The Turtles calculated the stop-loss for all trades using the Average True Range of the last 30 days, a value which they called N. Initial stop-loss was always ATR(30) * 2, or in their words, two volatility units. Additionally, the Turtles would pile profits back into winning trades to maximize their winnings, commonly known as pyramiding. They could pyramid a maximum of 4 trades separated from each other by 1/2 volatility unit.

The Exit Strategy

The Turtles learned to exit their trades using breakouts in the opposite direction, which allowed them to ride very long trends.

The exit strategy using System Two is as follows:

Exit long positions if/when the price touches a 20-day low
Close shorts positions if/when the price touches a 20-day high

The exit strategy using System One is as follows:

Close long positions if/when the price touches 10-day low
Close short positions if/when the price touches a 10-day high

S1 Stop Period: Donchian breakout period to exit trades (system #1)
S2 Trade Period: Donchian breakout period to trade (system #2)

This version of the indicator is universal as it has three modes of operation:

This indicator gives full information about the market state: strength and direction of a trend, volatility and price movement channel. It has two graphical components:

Histogram: the size and the color of a bar show the strength and direction of a trend. Positive values show an ascending trend and negative values - a descending trend. Green bar is for up motion, red one - for down motion, and the yellow one means no trend. Signal line is the value of the histogram (you can enable divergence search).

Trading

Two moving averages are analyzed by the neural network core, which produces commands to buy or sell.

Expert Advisor Training

\r\n

In the training mode the EA \"remembers\" the values of moving averages marked by the user on the chart of the currency instrument. In the future, during normal operation, it recognizes the values of the moving averages.

To train the EA mark at least one long and one short trade on the chart. To indicate a long trade use the \"Buy\" arrow, and for the short trade use the \"Sell\" arrow. You can place more arrows on the chart. The more arrows, the longer will be the process of training. Presence of any other objects on the chart other than the arrows is not desirable.

\r\n

After the training, folder \"NN 2MA\" will be created in the common folder of the terminal. It will contain file \"HHHHHH_NN_2MA.bin\" with the settings of the trained neural network. XXXXXX in the file name is the name of the financial instrument. In normal operation, the EA loads the data from the file. If the file is not found, it will use the default settings. By default, the EA is trained at USDJPY and one-hour timeframe, the trades are selected in 2012.

The following input parameters are responsible for the EA training:

\r\n

The number of weights per neuron. Equal to the length of the MA. Default - 48.
The number of training cycles - default 100. The higher the value, the longer the training process will be. In the trial version it is 10.
Factor b - the value affects the speed of the correction of weights of neurons, is used for training the network. The default value is 0.7, does not need changing.
Learning mode EA - enables the training mode of the EA.

You can adjust the settings of each moving average: the period, the price, the calculation mode.

Trade Settings

\r\n

Volume of order - default is 0,1.
Value of slippages in points - default is 30.
Number of attempts to open a position - default is 5.
Level StopLoss in points - default is 0.
Level TakeProfit in points - default is 0.
Level TrailingStop in points - default is 650.
Allow money management - control the order size to enter the market, enabled by defalt. If the mode is disabled, the order size is taken from the \"Volume of order\" parameter.
The volume of orders as a percentage of the deposit - used to control the order size, default is 5 percent.
Adding to the open position - enabled by default. If there is a signal to enter the market in the direction of an open position, the EA enters the market.

\r\n

Settings of Neural Network

\r\n

The number of weights per neuron. Equal to the length of the MA. The higher the value, the more accurate will the current market state be recognized, but it reduces the number of trades. The lower the value, the less accurate will the current market state be recognized, but the number of trades increases.
The value of neuron activation. The value is approximately 0.75 of the value of \"The number of weights per neuron\". The higher the value, the stricter is the selection of neurons for making a decision. In the trial version it is 40.
The number of training cycles - default is 100.
Factor b – the weight correction speed, default is 0.7.
Learning mode EA – the EA training mode.

During training, the maximum values of the neurons will be shown in the comments on the chart. These values can be used as an activation value of the neuron.
