Using 0 as a step, stoploss & trailing reproduces the arrow-to-arrow strategy used to calculate optimization results - it's not more dangerous, as a new signal close automatically the previous one.

When a new signal appears, the levels are automatically calculated, you're notified about and is placed only by clicking the Deal button or from the MT5 app of your phone/tablet. The deal opportunity remains until an opposite signal occurs.

This indicator searches for both potential and pending/past patterns.

Potential pattern is the one that has not completely formed yet - the price formed X, A, B and C points but the D point is not yet in the PRZ.
Pending pattern is the one that has completely formed - the candle representing the D point is closed and already in the PRZ.

This indicator searches for all possible alternatives. This means that you can see all the potential and pending patterns found on a current candle. It is a usual situation when there are multiple pattern candidates at the same time - you can see them all!

You can easily look through the current and past patterns using keyboardor dashboard. The following parameters control that feature:

Use keyboard to control the indicator: If set to true, you can use the following keys (in English layout): W - for switching between current and past patterns, A and D - for moving between the patterns (previous and next), S - for switching on/off the PRZ, Q - for switching on/off the pattern fill, E - for switching on/off the PRZ fill.
Use dashboard to control the indicator: If set to true, the dashboard with the same options as described above will be shown.

You can control the precisionfor the patterns to be found with the following parameters:

Compression rate: Rate of time series compression in percents. The closer this value to 100%, the less extrema will be left for analysis (but those extrema will be more important). The time series compression is based on the Important Extrema indicator. You can read the corresponding documentation here.
Update compression parameters periodically: If set to true, the indicator will update the parameters related to series compression periodically. Those parameters are dependant on history and so with new data coming in they might change.
Update period (in bars) of compression parameters: How often the compression parameters should be updated if the previous is set to true.
Length of data (in bars) for compression update: How big should be the piece of historical data used for updating compression parameters.
Pattern length (in bars): The average length of harmonic patterns to be found.
Pattern length delta: The deviation from average pattern length. For example, if we are searching for patterns with average length 100 and length delta 0.1, then the indicator will search for patterns with length from 90 to 110 bars.
Do not allow price to go above/below XB.
Do not allow price to go above/below AC.
Do not allow price to go above/below BD.
Do not allow price to go above/below XD (for some patterns).
Pattern tolerance (in percents of XABC height): This option regulates the precision of patterns. For example, if this is set to 10%, then it is allowed for X, A, B and C points to have an absolute error of 0.1*height(XABC). The closer this value to 0%, the more precise patterns will be found.
PRZ tolerance (in percents of XABC height): This option regulates the precision of price reversal zone (PRZ). For example, if this is set to 10%, then it is allowed for levels that define the D point to have an absolute error of 0.1*height(XABC). The cross-section of those levels comprises the PRZ. The closer this value to 0%, the narrower will be the PRZ, and accordingly the less patterns are found.

How to use Risk Reward Ratio Indicator

Step 1: Draw lines

click the draw button (with pencil) and then click on the chart where you want to place the „Open” line.

Step 2: Move lines

Step 3: Adjust lot size

set lot size in panel and read what is your stop loss and take profit value in account currency

Risk Reward Ratio – fixed or default Risk Reward Ratio. If you push „R:R” button on panel, than indicator will keep lines’ distance with selected ratio.
AllowedRiskPercent – acceptable risk of single transaction according to account balance (allowed values from 0.1 to 100).
Lot Calc. Type – lot calculation method:

Disabled - no lot calculation
Cash Amount - stop loss value as fixed cash amount set in \"Cash Amount\"
Risk Balance - stop loss value as % (defined in \"AllowedRiskPercent\") of account balance
Risk Equity - stop loss value as % (defined in \"AllowedRiskPercent\") of account equity

Cash Amount - stop loss value as fixed cash amount in account currency
AcceptableRiskColor – font color of risk % if it is smaller or equal than acceptable risk (set by AllowedRiskPercent param)

Risk Font Size - font size of risk text
Prefix & Suffix - sometimes indicator must read price of other symbol to properly calculate current pair or CFD profit and loss in currency. In some cases, pairs have additional prefix and/or suffix, e.g. “EURUSD.Pro”. In this case you should write “. Pro” into suffix field.
Autodetect - turn on/off prefix & suffix autodetection
LineStyle – select line style from list (solid, dash, dot, etc.)
LineColor – line color
TextColor – label text color
HorizontalAlign – panel can be horizontally aligned to left/right border or center.

How to you use Currency Strength Meter indicator?

There are two basic approaches how to trade currency strength and weakness:

Buy strong currency and sell weak currency - Trend Following strategy. For example, if the EUR is strengthening and AUD is weakening, buy the EURAUD currency pair. Do not trade if one of the currencies is overbought/oversold.
Sell strong currency and buy weak currency - Counter Trend strategy. For example, if USD is overbought and JPY is oversold, sell USDJPY.

You can achieve great results if you use the overbought/oversold concept of currency in conjunction with Price Action or Candlestick patterns. All you have to do is wait for the overbought/oversold of one currency, followed by drawing a candlestick pattern like a hammer or shooting star. Of course, this is just one of the thousands of possible ways to use our currency strength indicator.

It is possible to use the CSM indicator for manual backtest as well. All you have to do is set parameter \"Bars_Ago = 0\" in indicator settings and download historical data for seven currency pairs which our indicator needs to calculate.

News Trading

\r\n

Clicking on any ahead news to setup the trading plan for it. The following strategies are supported:

1. Predict the news

\r\n

This strategy is very simple, just predict the market move direction after news release, then set it to open Buy or Sell order before news release. This method can maximize the profit and avoid slippage because order is opened when market is still silent, but it also can whipsaw your account if you choose the wrong direction in big news. This is for one who likes to take risk.

\r\n

2. Pending trap

\r\n

This is typical strategy that places two opposite pending stop orders before news release to catch the breakout. Regardless of direction of the price move, we expect a large jump and it will trigger one of the pending orders. In some rare cases, some traders may want to use limit orders instead of stop ones, to catch the reversion of a price move. In this strategy, setting a reasonable SL, TP and trailing SL is critical.

3. Grid pending trap

\r\n

Similar to pending trap strategy, but grid pending trap strategy sets a series of pending orders (like a grid). This strategy catches the price move in smaller parts and sums them up in the final result.

\r\n

4. Martingale pending trap
\r\n

\r\n

Also known as \"Never lose again\" strategy, martingale strategy uses lot size increase to cover its previous losses (if any). This is great when combining with news, when the price usually has big move. However, do not set the initial lot size too large since if there are spikes on the news, your account will be margin called before price moves in one direction.

\r\n

5. Based on actual report

\r\n

This strategy waits until the actual report of the news is loaded, then compare it to forecast/previous data in order to decide the direction of the trade. This strategy is suitable for important news that impact the market in mid to long-term.

\r\n

Common parameters

\r\n

Fixed pending: Pending orders will stand constantly, but may be triggered at the wrong moment by price's fluctuation before news release.
Floating pending: Pending orders will always keep a distance from the current Bid/Ask until news release, so they are usually triggered by news impact only.
At some parameters, setting value by zero (0) means not set (SL, TP, Trailing, Cancel time) or unlimited (martingale loop times).

Warning: News trading is risky. It depends a lot on your broker's order filling ability. This tool is not a fully automated robot. It only trades on your custom strategy. You take the responsibility for the trading result made by your own setup strategy.

Better optimize it using the Custom max mode with the progressive optimization function that can increase the potential forecast. Set the time interval equal to the working period (Work Period), this period must be less than any other in the settings. To increase optimization speed, set only open prices. Set the desired time period, and if necessary the forward period.

It is important to choose Signal Period before optimization, since it determines the result. If the period is too small and the noise level exceeds the force of the signal prediction, the result will be lost. If it's too large, it will be ineffective and have little positions. Start optimization a few times in a row and estimate this parameter. In the optimization, by default, operation in the specified side and closure by a signal are enabled. A short-term market high is just the opposite. Here we will see a high with lower highs on both sides of it. What this says is that prices rallied up to the zenith of that middle day, then began to move back down, and in the process formed a short-term high. For our purposes in identifying short-term swing points, we will simply ignore inside days and the possible short-term points they produce.\"

In case of appearance of the short-term high, the indicator displays the red \"down\" arrow above the level of central bar which creates a pivot point. The green \"up\" arrow appears below the pivot point level. The signal is considered to be formed after close of the last bar on the chart.

Larry Williams recommends to buy or sell an asset at the opening price of the next bar after signal formation. The stop-loss should be placed above (below) the local high (low).

Swing points signals are good filters and amplifiers for other trading strategies.

The Heatmap Indicator

This Heatmap indicator allows you to display a \"heatmap\" of all symbols selected in the Market Watch. In this version it shows the percent price change in relation to the last daily close, what can give a quick overview of the market.

This is a tool to help traders identify how strong is a currency in relation to all other pairs. This is a visual tool, and cannot be used inside Expert Advisors. In this sense, it's more a tool for discretionary traders, instead of automated traders. So, for those interested in using this tool for automated trading, unfortunately this is not possible.

It's particularly useful for Stocks or Futures markets, like for example Bovespa the Brazilian Exchange.

Settings

There are several settings to be customized in the heatmap indicator:

Setting	Possible values	Description
Hide chart ?	True/False	You can completely hide the chart or keep it as is. Chart will be restored when indicator is removed from chart.
Chart drawn in foreground ?	True/False	If previous setting is True, you can choose to display the chart in foreground (true) or background (false).
Auto arrrange heatmap ?	True/False	If true, all sizing and arrangements are done automatically. Otherwise further settings must be selected.
Refresh time (milliseconds)	>=1000	Data is refreshed every 5 seconds by default. Minimum value is 1,000 (1 second).
Up Color	any Color	Blue by default. This color is used to indicate the symbols with positive percent change.
Mid Color	any Color	White by default. This is the neutral color, used for symbols with no increase or decrease (0%).
Down Color	any Color	Red by default. The color is used to indicate negative percent change in price.
Space between panels (pixels)	>=0	Space between 2 panels (symbols) of the heatmap.
Columns count (if not auto)	>=1	Used only if \"Auto arrange heatmap ?\" is false. Indicates the column's count to be used to display the heatmap.
Dimension of a panel (pixels, if not auto)	>=50	Used only if \"Auto arrange heatmap ?\" is false. Indicates the size of a symbol's panel on the heatmap.
Border width (pixels)	>=0	Border size of a symbol's panel.
Border color	any color	Border color of a symbol's panel.
Text color (true for automated, false for manual)	True/False	Color used for text labels (symbol's name and percentage). True=automated, false=manual (see next parameter).
Text color for panel labels (if not auto)	any color	If previous setting is false, this color will be use for panel's text labels.
Text size (small, normal or big)	enum	Size of panel's labels (name and percentage).

Maximum allowed symbols is 200. If the Market Watch contains more than 200, only the first 200 will be displayed. Please note that you need sufficient resource (CPU, Memory) on your computer if you want to display a lot of symbols simultaneously.
