Producer Price Index (PPI) y/y shows changes in manufactured goods prices in the specified month compared to the same month of the previous year. The indicator is calculated from the manufacturers' perspective and reflects basic prices not including VAT and similar taxes directly related to products turnover.
The indicator is used to assess the euro area inflation.
