Michigan Consumer Sentiment demonstrates how US consumers estimate the relative level of current and future economic conditions. It is calculated monthly based on a telephone survey of at least 500 US households. The questionnaire features about 50 questions, including questions about consumer intentions to make large purchases, about changes in real and nominal incomes.
